Whirlpool Gas Range Oven (WFG320M0MS0)

Operating Instructions

  1. Choose Bake, Broil, or the needed cooking mode.
  2. Set the temperature and wait for preheat if the recipe requires it.
  3. Use oven-safe cookware only.
  4. Use oven mitts around racks, pans, and the door.
  5. Turn the oven and all burners Off before leaving the kitchen.

Have a problem?

  • You smell gas
    1. Do not light burners, press oven controls, or use electrical switches.
    2. Leave the kitchen area and contact your host immediately.
    3. If the smell is strong or you feel unsafe, leave the house and call 911 or the gas utility.
  • Oven does not heat
    1. Confirm the oven door is fully closed.
    2. Press Cancel, then set Bake and Start once more.
    3. If the oven still does not heat, stop using it and contact your host.
  • Food is not cooking evenly
    1. Allow the oven to preheat fully.
    2. Keep pans centered with space around them for airflow.
    3. Avoid opening the oven door repeatedly while cooking.
    4. Use the middle rack unless the recipe says otherwise.
  • Smoke or burning smell during cooking
    1. Press Cancel and keep the oven door closed if safe to do so.
    2. Turn on the kitchen vent if available.
    3. Let the oven cool before anyone wipes spills.
    4. Contact your host if smoke continues or food spilled heavily.
  • Broiler drawer or lower area is very hot
    1. Assume the broiler drawer and lower oven area are hot during and after oven use.
    2. Use oven mitts and keep children away.
    3. Do not store plastic, towels, paper, or other items in the broiler drawer.
