Operating Instructions

  1. Keep the clock plugged in; the battery is only a backup for saved settings during a power outage.
  2. To dim the main screen at night, make sure the radio is off, then press the Time Zone/Snooze/Sleep/Dimmer button to cycle High, Low, and Off.
  3. To turn the wall or ceiling projection on or off, press the Projection ON/OFF button on the back projection unit.
  4. To aim the projection, gently swivel the projection unit toward a wall or ceiling; the clearest range is about 3 to 9 feet in a darkened room.
  5. To sharpen the projected time or temperature, turn the small focus wheel on the back of the projection unit until the numbers are clear.
  6. If the projection is upside down, press the 180-degree flip/projection button once to rotate the projected image.
  7. To show temperature instead of time in the projection, press and hold the projection temperature button on the back projection unit.
  8. To set Alarm 1 or Alarm 2, press the alarm button once to view it, then press and hold the same alarm button until the alarm time flashes.
  9. Use the arrow buttons to choose hour, minute, alarm mode, wake option, and volume if radio is selected; press the same Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button to confirm each option.
  10. When an alarm is sounding, press AM/FM Power once to stop it for the day; press Snooze/Sleep only if you want a 9-minute snooze.
  11. Before checkout, press and hold Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 until their alarm indicators disappear from the screen so the next guest is not woken up.
